Ireland 2013 for alums

As an alum, you’re most welcome to travel to Ireland with the Spalding MFA in Writing program, whether to participate as a student or just for the travel experience. If you’re interested either way, this email explains how to sign up. (Even if you’re already signed up for Ireland, I still encourage you to read the FAQ, which has been updated with new information that may play into your travel decisions.) You may sign up until February 1; the earlier you sign up, the more you can spread out your travel payments.

The Ireland residency begins when we fly out of the U.S. on July 3, arriving in Dublin July 4. We’ll spend the next six days living at Trinity College. While there, we plan to attend a play at the Abbey Theatre. At the midpoint of the residency, we move to Galway, where we’ve set aside a day for attending the Galway Film Fleadh, an international film festival. As an alum, you can see more of the film festival on your own schedule, if you like.
